Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Barona Resort & Casino will remain temporarily closed until further notice.

So many of our Barona friends and family have been asking if we are going to re-open our doors on April 20, 2020. While we had hopes that might be a possibility, it is apparent that was optimistic. The health and safety of our staff, our players and our community is our top priority and therefore we have decided to extend our closure until further notice.

As a result of this extended closure, the magnitude of the economic impact has forced us to make a heartbreaking decision. While we have paid all 3,100 of our staff members and provided medical benefits for the past month, this is no longer a reality for us. We have reached the unfortunate point that we will have to furlough our staff members as of April 20, 2020. The Barona Tribe will continue to pay medical benefits through May 31, 2020.

We will continue to monitor and assess the situation and keep you updated on our plans with announcements on our website at www.barona.com

Thank you for being a part of the Barona family. We miss you, hope you stay well and we look forward to welcoming you back home to Barona in the near future.
