George's 15 year contribution to Barona Resort & Casino was preceded by a 30-year career as a fast food industry executive and franchise owner, as well as trainer and mentor to junior staff members.

Through his experience, he is always mindful of the value of good customer service. Bringing this inspiration to our guests to create thousands of Barona moments, George remains a valuable team member of our Executive Host staff to co-workers and highly regarded guests alike.

Hussien has been in the casino industry since 1997. Starting off as a vault cashier, he transitioned into table games to work as a dealer and was quickly promoted to Floor Supervisor. Hussien came to Casino Marketing in March 2006 to provide exceptional service as an Executive Host. His proficiency in both English and Arabic also serve to make our guests experiences even that much better.

Often referred to as Executive Host Extraordinaire, Hussien takes great pride in creating an unsurpassed gaming experience for his guests. He is passionate about discovering what makes a perfect gaming experience for his guests, and then sets out to make it happen for them. Hussien enjoys traveling, music, good restaurants, and off-roading.

Jeffty has been delighting guests at Barona since 2005. Prior to his three years experience in the Las Vegas casino industry, Jeffty was a professional basketball player. He spent much of his thirteen-year career in Brazil and is fluent in Portugese.

He is a graduate of Santa Clara University and has traveled the world extensively. Jeffty loves meeting people and is looking forward to hosting Barona's special guests.

Lena has been part of the Barona Family since 2000. She hails from Sicily and has spent most of her life within the midst of the Italian community in San Diego. Lena speaks Italian, English, and Spanish, and has an extensive retail and customer service background.

Lena started in Group Sales and joined the VIP Host Department in 2001 because she wanted to provide that special experience to each and every one of our guests. She loves to travel, be creative, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Michael has an incredible 20+ years in the customer service industry...and it shows! He loves providing personal attention to each and every one of his players, and loves to show them what San Diego is all about.

Michael came to Barona in 2000 as a VIP Host, and was quickly made an Executive Host. His natural affinity for hosting all our valuable players, as well as his knowledge of the gaming industry, has made him a much sought-after Barona Executive Host.

Pete has been a customer service professional for 15 years, in both broadcast television equipment rental and corporate media development/presentation. He brings his superior customer service talents to the Barona guest experience, giving him repeated casino industry awards.

Troy came to Barona after a decade working as an on-air radio weather broadcaster. He joined the Barona Family in 2002 as a Guest Service Representative and served three years as a VIP Host.

Troy's goal is to insure an unsurpassed gaming experience for all of Barona’s guests. He will help you make your next hotel reservation, open your credit line, or assist in other needs you may have. When Troy is not exceeding guest expectations on the casino floor, you will find him honing his golf game at the beautiful Barona Creek Golf Club.

Christina Garcia is a native Californian, raised right here in beautiful San Diego County. She has extensive background in customer service, having worked in the casino industry since 2000. When not at Barona, Christina loves to spend time hanging out with her family
 

Tiffany Winchester comes from a strong customer service background, and joined the Barona family as a Club Barona Host and now as VIP Host. Tiffany can speak three different Asian languages (Thai, Lao, and Hmong). If you are looking for a Barona moment, Tiffany and her upbeat, enthusiastic, and most attention to detail personality will be at your services.

Raul Gonzalez was born and raised in San Diego, and got his first job here at Barona! An avid San Diego Chargers fan, Raul is dedicated to making guest’s experiences even better than their last!  

Cori Tomkiel began her career here at Barona Resort & Casino in 1998 as a Customer Service Host, then became a VIP Host in 2000 where she has been ever since. Cori is dedicated to her VIP Host team as well as making sure each guest has an unsurpassed experience each visit.

Joel Castro-Jouvet was born in Southern Mexico, and has many years of customer service experience. He joined the Barona Family in 1993 and is a master in guest relations, assuring that every guest he serves has an unsurpassed experience.

Cheri Wisler is a native of San Diego and has loved working at Barona Resort & Casino since 1994. She takes great pleasure in her position as a VIP Host providing a thrilling experience for all those with whom she come in contact, to make each guest feel that they have a had a memorable experience.

Sara Guinn was born and raised right here in San Diego and has always been a supporter of our local sports teams and volunteers for different charitable events such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s annual Light the Night. Sara has been at Barona for over 2 years, starting as a Guest Service Representative and moving into her current job as VIP Host in 2008.

Jen Krismer was born and raised in San Diego, and started her career with the Barona Family over two years ago. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Jen truly enjoys the hospitality field and looks forward to each opportunity to deliver an unsurpassed experience to Barona's guests.

Michaelene Ramirez moved to San Diego in 1979 and been with Barona Resort & Casino since 1994. She started her career as a VIP Host in 2000 and takes pride in creating Barona moments for each and every guest.

Laura Clarke was born and raised in San Diego and joined the Barona family in 2001. Laura has an enthusiasm for fun in the sun, spending the majority of her summer at the beach with her family. Laura brings to Barona her wish to exceed your expectations by providing you with dedicated service and personalized attention and to ensure that every Barona moment is an exceptional one.

Eduardo Torres joined the Barona Family in 2008 and brings over 12 years of customer service experience to Barona. He is fluent in English and in Spanish making him an important asset to the VIP Host team. Eduardo prides himself in providing dedicated service to all of our players and guests to ensure that their experience at Barona is always a memorable one.

Wendy Moore was born in Virginia, and has lived in San Diego most of her life. She has been with Barona for 5 years, and with over 25 years of guest experience, enjoys making memorable moments for all of her guests.

Tina Wong was born in Taiwan and speaks Taiwanese, Mandarin, Cantonese. She has worked in the casino industry since 1992, including Las Vegas, Nevada, and California. She loves to work with people and has great customer service and a friendly attitude.
