(SAN DIEGO) Sept. 5, 2008 – Continuing Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino’s status as a leading provider of cutting-edge casino innovation in San Diego, Barona has debuted a Three Card Poker Progressive™ Table, which is only the game’s second installation in North America and the first outside of Las Vegas. Offered by Barona in conjunction with DEQ Systems Corp. and Shuffle Master Inc., this progressive table game includes a unique electronic side bet feature, allowing players to wager on possible outcomes without chips.

Using the G3TM system, the progressive’s electronic betting mechanism includes an LCD screen table display with payout charts, rules of the game, game logos and prize animation, a personal bet manager interface for each player position at the table, a dealer interface and a central game server computer. The G3 automates the process of the wager and the outcome, as well as provides more accurate accounting of the side bet features.

The game allows for an optional $1 progressive wager, along with head-to-head play against the dealer and a Pair Plus bonus bet. The $1 side bet wins when players receive a three-of-a-kind or higher, with the top payout being an Ace-King-Queen of Spades for a 100 percent progressive jackpot.

Barona also has plans to introduce additional electronic formats for other games in the near future.
